Basil Has Been Homed

Basil has been homed.

He is an average sized, friendly and confident, handsome, black, castrated male who was born in December 2008.

Basil has met other breeds of dog and given us no cause for concern around them. He would be suitable as an only pet or as a companion to another canine of medium size and above.

Basil tends to start off on a walk by pulling, but he settles nicely after just a short time to walk along nicely. The handler needs to be aware however that sighted wildlife etc will trigger Basil into “chase mode”.

With toys Basil likes cuddly ones and squeakies. He has not quite fathomed what to do with them, but the interest is there to work with. Basil is however scared of footballs currently.  He’s a people friendly lad who has no issues about dropping toys or giving them up.

A gentle and friendly soul, who has been with us too long. He doesn’t stand out in any particular way and has therefore been overlooked for too long. Please ask to meet Basil and give him a chance to win your heart.

Basil would best suit children aged 10 years and over.
