Ellie Has Been Homed

Ellie bitch black profile

Ellie has been homed.

She is a short and stockily built, black bitch with a friendly and loving nature.

Ellie was born in September 2006 and she generally walks very nicely on a lead.

She has met other breeds of dog and given us no cause for concern around those of medium and large breed generally. Ellie needs more experience and correction of behaviour however around small breeds of dog in particular.

Given clear guideline and consistency of correction Ellie responds positively in respect of socialisation, but she is in no way reliable around other breeds yet.

If Ellie’s future family live in or can travel to the Fleet area we are happy to cover the cost of a couple of behaviour sessions with K9 Matters in order that Ellie and her new family can get off to the best possible start to their life together.

A very playful and fun girl who is adept at spinning in a circle when you play with her.

Ellie loves to chase any type of toy and she picks them up. She’ll allow you to take from her mouth very easily. She seems to favor soft toys above other types.  She’s not sure about footballs if they are bounced, that worries her a little at present.  Ellie will catch and retrieve a tennis ball for you where she’ll either drop it or you can take from her.  Loves a game of football in that she can use her feet too, but she will sometimes pick the ball up and run off with it.

A gentle girl, very loving and cuddly. Ellie would suit an adult only home or one with children aged 16 years+ .
Ideally Ellie would be an only dog, purely so that the new owners could concentrate on her socialisation skills when out, but having a well behaved canine companion of medium to large breed is also a potential option for Ellie.

No cats or small fluffies please.
