Orca is in kennels near Fleet, Hampshire and is now reserved.
He is a medium size, stocky, slightly reserved, white and black boy who was born on 16th October 2013.
Orca needs a patient and confident owner who can bring him out of his shell, he finds dealing with crowds difficult and responds very well to 1:1 attention and care. He enjoys going out for walks but can get spooked by sudden movements and noises, he can therefore become stronger on the lead. He is happy to get into a car and settles down very quickly.
He enjoys playing with cuddly toys but when nobody is watching him! You will be lucky to see him playing! He enjoys his food but would prefer a quiet place to enjoy each meal.
Orca has met other breeds and with carefully introduction could live with smaller dogs or another greyhound as a friend.
He would be best suited in a quiet home with no children and with somebody around for part of the day. Orca is currently wary of sudden movements and people, once he builds up his trust with you he will enjoy having a cuddle or two! His new owner needs to be prepared to put the time in to support Orca building up his confidence which will unlock his true character.
He is a new arrival as of 8/8/18, over the coming weeks and once he has settled in we will be able to update this page further.
