Echo Has Been Homed

Echo

Echo has been homed.  15/3/15

He was born in July 2011.

He is a small, friendly, playful, blue, castrated male.

Echo walks nicely on a lead and he loves to have a cuddle.

He has shown us that he loves to play.  Echo will chase after a thrown toy e.g. tennis ball or a soft cuddly toy, he sometimes will pick them up but is still learning to give them back to you to throw again.  He has discovered that he likes a squeaky toy, however Echo can get over excited about hearing the noise and is determined to get the squeaker.  He will need to learn how to behave safely around them, if he is allowed to play with them.

Echo likes his food and always gives us a clean bowl.

He enjoys getting into a car for his outings and settles down nicely.

Echo would be fine as an only pet or a companion to a bitch of large breed.  He needs considerably more training and socialisation around smaller breeds of dog before he learns to accept them.  Echo would be best suited with children over the age of 12 years.

Best in an experienced greyhound home with someone willing to do a considerable amount of re-training work with him. This boy is acrobatic and determined when his chase instinct is triggered, a tight collar is a must! He needs a handler fully aware of dog body language too who is quick and consistent in their correction of inappropriate behaviour.

Not suitable to be exercised out of the home by anyone who is not a dog savvy adult.

Echo

No cats or small fluffies please.

Echo is a new arrival as of 23/2/15, as we get to know him better more information will be available.
