Mabel Has Been Homed

Mabel has been homed. 21/2/15

She is an average sized, lively and very confident, white and blue spayed bitch who was born in November 2011.

Mabel generally walks nicely on a lead, but she has a very keen chase instinct and reacts quickly when she sees something of interest. You’ll need your wits about you walking our Mabel!

She has met other breeds of dog and requires further socialisation and training before she starts to view other breeds (especially smaller ones) as friends.  Currently Mabel is attending training classes, she is learning to control her excitement around other breeds of dog particularly smaller ones and learn acceptable ways to behave.  She does respond very well to correction as she wants to please her owner.  With time Mabel is capable of learning to accept other breeds as friends and possible play mates.

Mabel is very confident and lacks any idea of how to behave. She’ll need a patient and firm owner prepared to give her plenty of clear ground rules and to correct undesirable behaviour quickly.

She is not suitable for small children, cats or small fluffies/cats. An adult or teenage home would be perfect for her.

She likes toys a lot, especially squeaky ones, but she needs to learn better manners around those at this stage.

Mabek would love an active family with lots going on. Plenty of training and exercise is the way forward to moulding Mabel into a perfect pet.
