It had been over six months since that emotional day when Milgi had slipped his collar and gone missing. Thankfully, all memory of it was slipping deeper into my subconscious, only to resurface on those occasions when I had the privilege of sitting with my greyhounds at the end of another busy day.

We had expected to see changes in Milgi upon the arrival of Meg. After all, one of the reasons why we had thought it a good idea to introduce another greyhound to our household was because we had sincerely hoped that it would help Milgi’s confidence.

Well it’s been 9 days now since Dottie had that bad fall and was (temporarily) paralysed. Dottie is doing well, she still has a way to go though.

Back in October 2004 we adopted Dottie (then called Domino). Dottie is the third greyhound (and for the time being, the last greyhound) to join our family. We have managed to adopt three of them in the space of 13 months.
