King

King is in kennels near Fleet, Hampshire. He is an average sized, black, castrated male with a friendly and gentle disposition who was born in April 2006. King is a calm and quiet boy, a gentleman of a dog to look after. King generally walks nicely on a lead, but he can be powerful if his chase instinct is triggered. He does however accept wearing a Canny Collar which makes walking him out considerably less challenging in the event a bunny crosses your path. King has met other breeds of dog and given us no cause for concern around those of medium size and above. King travels well and he is keen to get into a car for his outings. He's suit children aged 7 and over and he could be an only pet or a companion to a bitch of medium size and above. Trixie

Trixie is in kennels near Fleet, Hampshire. She is a short and stocky, black bitch with some white markings who was born in April 2009. She has a confident and friendly nature. Trixie is un-raced although she has had some race training. She has met other breeds of dog and given us no cause for concern around them. She is currently a little overwhelmed by them and tends to avoid their company if at all possible. She would therefore benefit from some socialisation classes to help boost her confidence around unfamiliar breeds. With the greyhounds that she is familiar with seeing around, she is outgoing and playful. Being very young and puppy like still she would need an active home with someone around most of the time. Due to her youth and liveliness we feel she'd be best with children aged 10 and over. We hope to cat test Trixie shortly. She walks nicely on a lead. Jazz is in kennels near Fleet, Hampshire. She is a leggy and lean, brindle spayed bitch with a friendly and outgoing nature. Jazz is used to home life and has been in foster care at another branch prior to coming to us. She is house trained, quiet and able to be left for reasonable periods. Jazz's original owner had to give her up for adoption due to a serious medical condition. Jazz is therefore up for re-adoption through no fault of her own. Jazz walks nicely on a lead. She has met other breeds of dog and given us no cause for concern around them. She would be suitable as an only pet or as a companion to another dog or bitch of any size. Zak was born in February 2000, but he looks much younger and still retains a healthy interest in playing chase with his companion greyhounds. Zak walks nicely on a lead.
