Bank Holiday Monday Success!

A big thank you to Aqua Jewellery for holding a stall at the Rustic Fayre in Verwood on Bank Holiday Monday. The day was very successful with lots of enquiries about adoption, becoming a volunteer, buying the lovely selection of jewellery and of course cuddles with the greyhounds who attended.

Greyhound Lifeline were asked to talk on the radio and had their picture taken for the paper. The team raised a grand £128 on the day and raised a huge awareness about greyhounds as pets throughout the busy event.

A big thank you goes to our volunteers Amy, Debs, Dec and Abbie who attended this event.

Our male greyhounds wrote a poem this month too!

I may be a boy,
I may be larger than my fellow kennel mates,
I may not be perfect,
I may not be blue, white, fawn or brindle,
BUT…..
I know how to lean and give you those big puppy eyes,
I love to please you,
I’m trying my very best,
I can still have fun and lots of it!
I’m being very patient waiting and waiting,
All I want is my own family.

Have you thought about giving one of our male greyhounds a home?  Please have a look at our Greyhounds Needing a Home page and see which greyhound is for you.
