August was a busy month at the kennels, we homed five dogs and a further two got themselves reserved. We are very pleased that our long stayer greyhound of 17 months has been homed which of course is Sherman and also Billy and Ice our other two long stayers have also been homed. It is very welcoming to see three long stayer, black boys leave the kennels. Well done boys!
The next long stayer greyhound in our care is Annie who has been with us for 16 months, she is a fun, loving girl who needs a confident owner to keep a check on this spirited little lady! Please visit her own page under the Greyhound Gallery for more information on her.
Our fundraisers have been out in force too, attending many car boot sales and we attended a few shows, educating the public about greyhounds as well as publicising the work Greyhound Lifeline do.
The young supporters were busy too, baking cakes and selling them to friends, family and neighbours to help raise funds for the greyhounds in our care. Thank you to Gemma and Megan for their recent cake sale.
We hope you have all had a lovely summer and enjoyed the warm weather. Fingers crossed it continues into September!

Please can we ask that they are non-squeaky toys, thank you.
We are in need of dog walkers to join our team on a Monday and a Thursday, to help exercise our kennel dogs each day. If you would like to find out more information about this then please get in contact.
You can email us on firstname.lastname@example.org or ring us on 07828128378 or 07769348310. Thank you.
