Chip Has Been Homed

Chip has been homed – 29.5.21.

Chip is in kennels near Fleet, Hampshire, he was born on 16th December 2015 and he came back into our care on Monday 17th May 2021.

Sadly Chip was returned to us on Monday, through no fault of his own.

It would be fantastic if we could find him his very own home, with lightening speed, he has enjoyed his last family for the last two years and now he is back in a kennel environment.  Chip doesn’t understand what has happened, finding a home for him soon is our priority.  Please help us achieve this by reading his post and sharing with friends and family.

We are all so sorry for him as he is such a loving, affectionate boy.  Chip is currently confused as to where his family have gone but with all the extra attention given to him through our kennel hands, it is helping him to get through this sad time.

Chip showing his happy side, runnng freely.

Chip is housetrained and can do stairs with ease, running up them with a flash of speed!  You may need to install a baby gate if you wish for him to stay downstairs.

He is a friendly small boy who has a very happy tail and a licky tongue!  Chip enjoys being around people and will come to you when you call his name.

“I’m coming!”

Chip enjoys chasing after a soft toy using his lightning speed to dash around, although this cheeky chap hasn`t mastered the talent of bringing them back to his human friend!

He enjoys his walks and can walk very nicely on the lead, if you love walking then Chip will love it too, however if you prefer a gentle stroll then Chip will quite happily trot along instead!

Chip has come along way with other breeds of dog, he has now learnt that smaller dogs are still dogs but they can be friends too!  He can get excited meeting other breeds, with his happiness, however he looks to his handler for reasurance and is learning to wait patiently until he is allowed to play with them.

This lad would be best suited to a home with older children or an adults only home, he could be a companion to another greyhound or other breed of dog with careful introductions.  Chip can be quite bouncy and full of life espeically around ‘getting ready for walk time’ and ‘people entering the home’, however he does calm down very quickly and only wants to say hello to everyone!

He is a boy who loves his food and will give you a clean bowl at every meal time! Chip does love a carrot as a snack at lunchtimes, but he does like a soft mat to lay on whilst he is eating it.  Plenty of carrots and best bedware needed for this loveable boy, with his funny antics!

This chap is so very gorgeous and doesn’t deserve to be back in a kennel.  Chip has a fantastic character, he is a loyal friend and is waiting for his dream family to come along.  There will be no boring days with Chip around, as he tries  to put a smile on your face.

Let’s put a bigger smile on his face by finding him the home he deserves.

If you are interested in this loveable lad, please ring our adoption line to arrange a viewing.  How could you resist those big brown eyes!?
