Hula is in kennels near Fleet, Hampshire and she was born on the 2nd February 2015.
She is a friendly, stocky, playful girl who just loves to have fun!
Hula enjoys going for a walk and she is keen to investigate all that she finds with a big waggy tail! She walks nicely on the lead but can be strong if her chase instinct is triggered.
As Hula has such a keen chase instinct she needs to go to a home where the owners are prepared to use the muzzle and keep her on the lead for outings. She would benefit from socialisation classes to help her accept non greyhound and smaller dogs generally as friends.
Hula has been having weekly dog training sessions, she is starting to listen to her handler who she now trusts, with time and patience she will learn how to behave around other dogs. Greyhound Lifeline will support her new owners moving forward with her training.
Hula is a good eater and is not remotely fussy over food. She’s learning to chase after a soft cuddly toy and play with it afterwards.
She would be suitable to live as an only pet or as a companion to a male or female greyhound or greyhound look-alike. She could live with children over the age of 10 years.
Hula travels well and is keen to get into a car for her outings although does need some assistance getting in.
