Kendi is in foster care in Southampton, Hampshire, he arrived in our care on 2nd of April 2025 and he was born on the 3rd of April 2021.
This lad is a friendly boy who is going to make a perfect addition to his new family. Kendi is on the smaller size for a greyhound, only weighing 31kg.
He has grown in confidence and has adapted to home living really well. Let’s find him that home that he really does deserve.
Kendi is an inquisitive boy who likes to be on the go. He also enjoys giving his human friends lots of kisses. No dull day with this boy around!
This lad is housetrained, enjoys his nice, comfy bed and can be quite lazy especially about getting up in the mornings!
He understands the rules and routines of the house and follows them well. As long as he has his toys and a comfy sofa, Kendi will be putty in your hands! He really is such a sweet boy.
Kendi loves his outings, travels well and can easily get in and out of the car by himself. He can walk nicely on a Canny Collar and enjoys saying ‘hello’ to everyone he meets.
This boy enjoys having cuddles with his human friends and will lean right into you, he especially enjoys being brushed! Kendi loves roaching, having a belly rub and then play fighting with his human friends, he certainly has a character!
This cheeky chappie currently has a bald behind, he enjoys his daily Burts Bee rub, massaging those thighs and promoting that hair to grow back, which it has started too. I think Kendi would like any new owner to continue this, I think he rather enjoys it and of course he smells lovely afterwards too!
Kendi enjoys chasing after a thrown toy but is very particular which toys he will pick up and run around with! He loves squeaky, tennis balls and fluffy toys, if you are missing anything that is fluffy you might find it in Kendi’s bed! This boy really LOVES his squeaky toys and will do anything to find one, even if this means he has to turn his bed upside down and back again to find it! He really is a funny lad!
This cheeky chap loves playing in the sand pit, he will dig for ages, then spin round and race around, chasing his friends and then back into the sand pit for a bit more digging before he decides it is time out and he needs a quick snooze! He really is a delight to watch.
This lad would be fine as an only pet or as a companion to a laid back female greyhound in a home with children over the age of 10 years and he’d be fine to be left unattended for a few hours.
Kendi has met a range of dogs out on walks and has made great achievement around larger and medium size dogs. He will listen to his handler and has become a lot calmer when he sees other dogs on his walks, he will walk pass them positively on a slack lead which is a real success. He does need more training around smaller breeds, he currently is unable to say ‘hello’ to them and needs a lot more exposure seeing them from a distance before he will accept them as friends. With time and consistency Kendi will soon learn, he is a keen leaner and wants to please his human friends.
This stunning looking boy would fit into any family household who are keen walkers/enjoy outside sports or just love visiting new places. Kendi would just like his own family to call his own.
Kendi is such an adorable lad. Go on give the adoption line a call and find out more about this lovely lad.
