Due to unforeseen circumstances and through no fault of Scramble she is now back in our care – 4.11.24.
Scramble is in foster care in Southampton, Hampshire, she arrived in our care on the 4th October 2024 and she was born on the 16th of February 2021.
This lass is a tiny little one, she has a shiny brindle coat and is a friendly girl who is going to make a perfect addition to her new family.
She is a very happy girl and her tail never stops wagging! I think it could take off the speed that it goes round!
Scramble can get really excited when she greets familiar people, she will show this with a big waggy tail and comes running at you with a massive grin. She is a funny girl.
This girl loves to play with you and soft toys, she just loves running around and having fun, what more could you ask for! Scramble loves her teddys and will often be found with one in her mouth.
Scramble is housetrained and used to everyday noises in and around the home. She is showing no fear of washing machine, dishwasher, hoover and other familiar sounds.
Our gorgeous girl lives alongside 7 other greyhounds both girls and boys, she gets on well with them all.
Scramble enjoys feeding time but is quite happy to wait her turn, she takes treats gentle from your hand and shows manners around the other dogs.
She enjoys her car rides, knowing she is going to have a nice walk somewhere. Scramble can jump into the car easily for her adventures and will settle down for the car journey.
Scramble enjoys going out for her walks, she walks nicely on a lead and will trot along beside you, however in new environments she can be a little strong on the lead, don’t be fooled by her size as she can be strong when she wants to be! She will prick her ears up when watching other dogs play but knows how to correctly say ‘hello’ with other breeds, she meets, on her walks.
She can get excited on her walks, especially if the local squirrels come out to play, hide and seek with her! During these times Scramble can be a little bouncy on the lead and a firm hand will be needed! She soon settles down again once they have disappeared and will continue to enjoy her walk with you.
After all the excitement of being out and about, she will settle down next to you for some quiet time and a stroke from her favourite people, she may even give you a roach!
Scramble has been tested with other breeds and has shown us no cause for concern. She would be able to be homed with another dog of any size, after careful introductions have been carried out. Being a young dog, she could be left for a few hours at a time but we would prefer this to be kept to no more than 4 hours due to her age and character.
This little lass won’t be with us long so contact us to arrange a viewing, you will not be disappointed with our beautiful Scramble!
