UPDATED GREYHOUND DESCRIPTIONS: Billie, Pippa, Tara, Billy, Max, River, Bandit, Sky and William have had updated descriptions. Please take a fresh look at all of our available greyhounds in the Greyhounds Needing Homes Gallery. Perhaps one might become your ideal pet greyhound?

RESERVED GREYHOUNDS: Parker and Duchess are reserved.

HOMED GREYHOUNDS: Marion, Sandy and Becky.

FESTIVE SEASON GREYHOUND HOMING: Please note that the last day for adopting greyhounds into homes where children are resident will be Sunday 4th December. Child free homes will be considered on an individual basis and at our discretion with the best interest of the greyhound foremost in our minds. Normal homing will resume on January 1st 2012.

CHRISTMAS APPEAL FOR LIFELINE'S GREYHOUNDS: We would love to have a full treat bin and a selection for toys for all our greyhounds this Christmas. If you can add a bag of dog treats to your weekly shop, find some unwanted soft toys, balls or even actual dog toys at home then Greyhound Lifeline would love to receive them. Let's make this Christmas special extra for the greyhounds and hopefully the food and fun will last well into 2012. Please make your donations in person at the kennels between 11am and 1pm daily.

FUNDRAISE FOR US USING EBAY: You can now sell items on ebay and choose to donate between 10% and 100% of your sale price to Greyhound Lifeline. If you are an ebay member you could also simply donate by using your Paypal account. For ebay members only please visit their Sell for Charity page and enter "Greyhound Lifeline" in the Charity name area. If you are a UK tax payer please also tick the Gift Aid box. Please read ebay's terms and conditions carefully as we cannot be held responsible for any problems you may encounter. Could you sell your unwanted items and help us to buy food, provide veterinary care and generally look after the greyhounds in our care at the same time?

PET BLOOD BANK: Sunday 20th November is our next Pet Blood Bank donation day. Donating blood can be done by greyhounds or any other breed of dog provided that the individual is 25kg or over. We're not "breedist", all types of big dogs are welcome to come along and help save other lives by donating blood. Each donation saves 4 other dogs and as a bonus your dog will receive a lovely goody bag as a reward for being heroic. Acceptance criteria apply. To make a booking please email [email protected] or call 07868 380287. We hope to see you there.

GREYHOUND FUNDRAISER - CHRISTMAS BAZAAR: We will be attending a Christmas Bazaar at Cranleigh Village Hall on Saturday 19th November. We'll be there from 10am until 1pm when Saara will be hoping to sell you a variety of Christmas goodies (sweets, pickles and canine Christmas treats are just a few of the things you could purchase). Please come along and support our work by treating yourself or your dog to something nice for Christmas.

NEW GREYHOUND MERCHANDISE: We now sell good quality, degradable, dark green poop bags for £1 per pack of 50 bags and RGT Christmas cards are also now in stock too. Packs of 12 cards cost £3.99 per pack. All profits go to support the greyhounds. Sorry, but we are unable to do mail order. Goods are available only from the kennels during our regular opening hours of 11am - 1pm daily.
