Corky is in foster care in Southampton, Hampshire, he arrived in our care on the 11th of August 2025 and he was born on the 9th of September 2022.
This lad is a very handsome boy, who loves being around his human friends. Corky is well mannered and polite.
If you are looking for a lad that is a good walker and loves giving lots of attention to his human friends then this boy is the one for you! Corky can walk nicely on a lead but can be a little stronger if he sees something of interest, however he is fairly easy to control.
Corky may be young but he certainly shows how relaxed he can be within a home environment, taking it all in his stride. He is housetrained and knows that the garden is where he goes for his toileting needs.
He LOVES his food and will always give you a clean bowl, finishing up any other remains from his greyhound buddies too.
This lad has begun his training around other breeds of dog, he knows that they are dogs like him but hasn’t quite worked out how to greet them politely. Corky needs to carry on his training around other dogs of all sizes, he needs to see them from a distance as well as up close. He is a good listener, and responds very well to his handler so it won’t take him long to understand the socialisation rules! Corky loves being around other sighthounds and welcomes them all with a big waggy tail!
Corky is just a well mannered boy, despite being a little bit of a kitchen top surfer! He just loves his snuggles on the sofa with his human friends and try’s to be a lap dog! He gets excited when he first greets you and will give lots of kisses.
This lad loves to play with his toys – soft, cuddly ones and balls of all sizes and especially enjoys splashing around in the dog pool!
Corky has always got a smile on his face, and you can only smile with him as he is very comical to watch! You will never have a dull day with Corky around!
