Gus Has Been Homed

Gus has been homed – 10.8.25.

Gus is in foster care in Southampton, Hampshire, he arrived in our care on the 16th of July 2025 and he was born on the 2nd of December 2019.

This lad is a friendly boy who loves to have cuddles and gives plenty of kisses to his human friends!

Gus has begun the housetraining journey, he knows he should toilet outside and just forgets occasionally, especially when he gets excited.   He can jump into a car with ease and settles down straight away.

This lad loves greeting new people and can get over excited during these times, although he soon settles down and just enjoys being around his human friends.

Gus would prefer a home of his own where he can get all the attention and not have to share it with other greyhounds!  Gus is always happy and just loves to be active with you.

He loves his outings and will walk nicely by your side whether he is.  He is a good walker and one that would be happy to walk any distance with his new family.  If you like walking or sports than this boy is just for you!

Gus has met a range of other breeds of dog, he greets them all in a positive manner.  He now needs to continue his journey getting to know all breeds of dog and carry on greeting them on every walk.

This lad loves to play with soft toys and balls.  He currently will chase after them but isn’t quite sure what to do when they stop moving!  We are sure this will develop as he gets more used to home living.

Gus loves his food and eats nicely.  He can get excited when it is feeding time and will whinge/bark if you take too long to make his food!

This boy is a water baby and can often be found putting his feet in buckets of water to cool down!

This lad will certainly not be around for long!
