Toffee is in foster care in Southampton, Hampshire, she arrived in our care on the 7th of March 2026 and she was born on the 6th of November 2021.
This lass has a thick, black, silky coat, she really is a stunner to look at!
Toffee can get really excited when she greets people, she will show this with a big waggy tail and comes running at you with a massive grin! She is a funny girl. Toffee soon settles down and become this affectionate, loveable girl that she is!
This girl loves to play with you and soft toys, she just loves running around and having fun, what more could you ask for!

Toffee is nearly housetrained and used to everyday noises in and around the home. She shows no fear of washing machine, TV, dishwasher, hoover or other household noises.
Our gorgeous girl lives alongside 7 other greyhounds both girls and boys, she gets on well with them, particularly the boys. Toffee has shown us no negative behaviour around other breeds of dog, she is intrigued about what they are – big and small breeds. She will watch them as they go by and will listen to her handler if she is asked to wait on walks. Toffee needs to continue her training around other breeds of dog, seeing them from afar and up close.
This girl does LOVE her food and is also learning all about treats. Toffee is certainly enjoying all these new tastes!
She enjoys her car rides, knowing she is going to have a nice walk somewhere. Toffee will jump in all by herself and soon settles down for the journey.
Toffee enjoys going out for her walks, she can walk nicely on a lead and will trot along beside you. She will prick her ears up when watching other dogs play, she can get excited if they are running around but only because she wants to join in! Toffee is currently walked on a Canny Lead whilst she gets used to walking in different places. She shows no fear when walking along pavements, parks, forests, around cars or bikes.
After all the excitement of being out and about, she will settle down next to you for some quiet time and a stroke from her favourite people, she may even give you a roach!

Toffee could be left for a few hours at a time but we would prefer this to be kept to no more than 4 hours due to her age and character. She could live with another dog if proper introductions have taken place or she could be an only dog.
Our sweet girl could live with a family who have teenagers, Toffee can be a bit boisterous in her mannerism and may knock a younger child over by accident. We look at each homing individually and would be willing to discuss this further with any interested family.
Come and meet Toffee, you really won’t be disappointed, she really is a special, happy girl.
