Becks has been homed – 3.4.23.
Becks is in foster care in Southampton, Hampshire, he arrived in our care on 21st November 2022 and he was born on the 1st September 2018.
This lad is a friendly boy who is going to make a perfect addition to his new chosen family.
Becks has taken all household noises in his stride, he isn’t fazed with the washing machine, dishwasher, radio etc. He has learnt a lot since arriving in our care and housetraining is going very well.
He is a very gentle boy who loves cuddles, going out for walks and playing with his toys. Becks loves tennis balls and is learning to play with soft cuddly toys too.
He can even sit!
On a lead Becks walks very nicely, he can be a little excited when getting ready for a walk but easily calms down and waits his turn. Becks doesn’t understand what little dogs are, he is inquisitive and needs to learn how to behave around them. This lad has already made progress since being with us but needs an owner who is willing to put the time in to help him make more friends. Becks can get a little excited if other dogs are playing chase and he may make a small whinning sound, although he will stop when you ask him to!
Everyone who meets Becks, is very impressed with his greeting skills and the huge smile he carriers around with him!
Becks can jump easily into a car but can sometimes be a little lazy, particularly after a long walk so may need a little persuading!
He recently joined our team at Longacres, collecting funds, meeting and greeting the public. Becks was such a good boy and greeted everyone very gently, he tried to stay awake all day too, what a good boy he is!

Becks could be homed on his own or with a ‘greyhound look alike dog’, he could live with children over the age of 10 years.
This boy enjoys filling his tummy with all that yummy food and treats, his waistline can sometimes be stretched a little so his new owner will need to watch those extra pounds that he tries to put on! Becks is very gentle with treats and will take them nicely from your hand.
