Dude has been homed – 9.7.25.

Dude is in foster care in Southampton, Hampshire, he arrived in our care on the 27th of June 2025 and he was born on the 1st of September 2023.

This lad is a friendly, calm boy who loves to have cuddles and gives plenty of kisses to his human friends as well as canine ones too!  As Dude is quite young he does have a little more energy but he will use that up when playing with his toys!

Dude is becoming housetrained, he can jump into a car and settles down straight away.  He loves going out for walks and is very polite on the lead.  Dude listens well to his handler whilst out and about and he just adores meeting new people and dogs.

This lad has never raced, he has no chase instinct, in time and with training Dude could become an off lead greyhound, in places that are appropriate and safe for him to be in.

Dude has met a range of smaller dogs and has shown no negative behaviour around them.  He is quite happy to say hello to them and allow them to sniff him.  Dude could live in a family home with other dogs or on his own.  As he is so young he would be better suited to a family where he isn’t left for longer periods so he has some company and playmates!

We will be giving Dude some time to adjust to his new surroundings before we carry out all of our formal assessments.

This lad will certainly not be around for long!
