Fozzie Has Been Homed

Fozzie has been homed – 19/6/20.

Fozzie is in foster care near Fleet, Hampshire, he arrived with us on the 28th April 2020 and his birthday is on the 9th April 2015.

He is a tall, slender, affectionate male who with humans can be like a great big teddy bear!

Fozzie enjoys going out for his walks and will trot along beside you. He enjoys visiting new places and takes everything in his stride. He is a quick learner and has learnt how to get in a car all by himself!  He can get excited around walking time and especially if he sees some energetic wildlife, so watch out as he still has the strength even though he chooses not to use it most of the time.

He loves to be around people, having a lot of fuss and cuddles in his teddy bear way!  He also enjoys finding out what you are doing and tries to give a helping paw!

He loves his food and will eat his meals very nicely for you.  This boy doesn’t mess around and enjoys all the food he is given.  He knows how to be gentle when taking treats from you.

Fozzie could be homed as a companion to a female greyhound or in a home of his own. He can get a little dominant around other male greyhounds, if allowed to, especially when the dogs are excited so would prefer not to share with a male dog.

He would be fine to be left for a few hours whilst someone worked. Fozzie could be homed with older teenagers, he loves to be active and mentally stimulated and he would quite happily be your walking buddy!

Fozzie loves to play and will quite happily amuse himself with toys.

Do you have soft toys that are no longer needed, well Fozzie will be able to help with that!

He has met other breeds of dog and needs further training around smaller breeds before he will fully accept them as friends.  Fozzie is a quick learner so he should complete this task very quickly.
