Lucy Has Been Homed

Lucy has been homed.  22nd November 2014.

Lucy

She is a small size, gentle, fawn and white greyhound bitch who is 6 years of age.

She came in at the request of the Retired Greyhound Trust’s Head Office who needed and urgent space for this little girl. Lucy has just had 32 rotten teeth extracted and she now has just 9 good ones left. Our vet tells us that she recovered extremely quickly from her major surgery and we hope it won’t be too long before she is fully recovered and started to put a little more weight on.

Lucy can be a little wary of new people but once she has got to know you she is a very friendly, affectionate little lady.  She loves her cuddles and fuss from people she knows.  She walks nicely on the lead and looks forward to her walks.

Lucy travels very well in the car and jumps in by herself.  She is fine to walk on laminate flooring as well as tiles.  Lucy is also fine with stairs.  She is a very clean girl in the home, her foster family report she is a very easy going girl who just wants to be loved.

Lucy could be homed as an only dog or a companion to another dog/bitch of any size/breed.  She is also cat trainable, given time and training she could live safely with cats.

We feel Lucy would be best with children over the age of 10 years, due to her needing a slightly quieter home.  This would allow her to relax and feel happy in her forever home.
