Magpie has been homed.
She is a small, friendly, gentle female who was born on the 1st April 2012.
Magpie loves cuddles and being with people, although at times she can be a little pushy and needs to be given some boundaries so not to expect everyone’s attention all the time.
She has learnt to love toys and will chase after them in the yard. Magpie tries to collect them and take them to bed, she is living up to her name!
Magpie can get excitable when she knows it is her walk time. She does need to learn how to walk nicely on a lead but responds well to correction. Being small she is easily corrected however can be quite strong when she wants to be. We will be working on her lead work over the coming weeks.
She would be best suited as a companion to a male greyhound and, or to a family where somebody was around for most of the day. She would be able to live with teenagers or in an adult only home.
Magpie currently needs some more training around smaller breeds of dog, she needs to learn social boundaries, we will be working on this with her.
No cats or small fluffies please.
