Max has been homed.
He is an exceptionally handsome, average sized, confident and friendly, red brindle male who was born in July 2008.
Max can be strong on the lead when his chase instinct is triggered, but he generally walks along nicely. Max responds well to correction and we feel he’s a bright lad too, so consistency of training would work well with him.
Max has met other breeds of dog. He’s given us no cause for concern around them although like many greyhounds who remain unfamiliar with other shapes and sizes of dog until their retirement, he would benefit from more all breed socialisation before he becomes totally trustworthy.
Max travels well and he is keen to get into a car for his outings.
Max would be suitable as an only pet or as a companion to another female only dog of medium size and above. We feel Max would be best in a family with children aged 7 years and over.
This lad is a lively bundle of fun, always up for a game of chase with you or even to play with a few toys. Max loves his food too so reward based training may work well once he’s in the home.
