Quackers Has Been Homed

Quackers has been homed! 29/4/20.

He is a friendly, confident, white and black boy who is now housetrained and is enjoying all his home comforts!  Quackers is a very good boy and sleeps all night, no early wake up call for his foster Mummy!

Quackers loves to play with toys, his favourite being footballs, soft toys and noisy ones. This boy enjoys a good run and can make you feel exhausted just watching him go!

He enjoys his walks and is keen to get on the move, he can walk nicely on the lead, however Quackers can be strong and will need a savy owner, who is prepared to continue working with this boy on his social skills. He enjoys his trips out in the car and will happily jump in by himself.

Quackers has met other breeds of dog and currently needs more socialisation before he will accept smaller breeds of dog as friends.   Since arriving with us in July 2019, he has come a long way with his training and has learnt some effective strategies to help him around other breeds.  He even can turn away from smaller breeds by himself and walk away nicely with his handler.

Quackers and Chloe

This lad is so proud of himself he is willing to show them to any potential owner!

Greyhound Lifeline will support his new owners with effective strategies to use when training him around other breeds.

Quackers would be best suited to a home with older teenagers or an adult only home, as an only dog or one with another greyhound or large dog who can show him the rules of the house!

He is a boy who loves his food, he thinks if he eats it fast he gets another helping! What a cheeky boy he is!
