Sol has been homed – 16.7.25.

Sol is in foster care in Southampton, Hampshire, he arrived in our care on the 26th of June 2025 and he was born on the 30th of March 2023.

This lad is a calm, slightly reserved boy who loves to have cuddles.  Sol is a sensitive lad but once he has got to know you he adores the attention, wants to follow you around and help you with the jobs!

Sol is becoming housetrained, he can step into a car and then settles down straight away.  He enjoys his walks and is very good on a lead.  Sol needs some practice walking on the pavement as those big lorries and buses are a little bit scary for such a young lad!

This lad has never raced, everyone that meets him falls in love with Sol as he is such a sweet natured lad.  This lad loves playing with balls especially tennis balls.

Sol has met a range of smaller dogs and is a little timid around them, with time and patience he could become good friends with other breeds, once he was worked out what they are!  Sol displays this behaviour by backing away from them, he will hide behind his handler but will come and say ‘hello’ to other dogs once his handler starts to stroke them too.  Bless him!

We will be giving Sol some time to adjust to his new surroundings before we carry out all of our formal assessments.

This lad will certainly not be around for long!
