Lowie is in foster care in Southampton, Hampshire, she arrived in our care on the 11th of January 2026 and she was born on the 15th of October 2021.
This lass has a thick, black coat and is a quiet yet friendly girl who is going to make a perfect addition to her new family.
Lowie is a girl that will certainly be snapped up! She is a real sweetie in so many ways. She is a friendly girl who just adores all the attention that is given to her. Lowie will lay on the sofa, with a big waggy tail and will wag it everytime you come into the room, waiting for you to sit down with her and have a cuddle or two together.
She will greet all people in a very calm but friendly way and a big waggy tail, of course!
This girl loves to play with you and soft toys, she just loves running around and having fun, what more could you ask for!
Lowie is housetrained and used to everyday noises in and around the home. She shows no fear of washing machine, TV, dishwasher, hoover. She is also used to walking in a variety of locations including along pavements and seeing busses and lorries.
Our gorgeous girl lives alongside 7 other greyhounds both girls and boys, she gets on well with them all. Lowie has given us no negative behaviour around other breeds of dog, she is intrigued about what they are – big and small breeds. She will watch them as they go by and will listen to her handler if she is asked to wait on walks. Lowie needs to continue her training around other breeds of dog, seeing them from afar and up close.
This girl does LOVE her food and is also learning all about treats. Lowie is certainly enjoying all these new tastes!
She enjoys her car rides, knowing she is going to have a nice walk somewhere. Lowie can get into the car for her outing but sometimes can be a little reluctant until she realises that we are going somewhere nice then she is very keen to jump in!
Lowie enjoys going out for her walks, she walks nicely on a lead and will trot along beside you. She will prick her ears up when watching other dogs play, she can get excited if they are running around but only because she wants to join in!
After all the excitement of being out and about, she will settle down next to you for some quiet time and a stroke from her favourite people, she may even give you a roach!

Lowie could be left for a few hours at a time but we would prefer this to be kept to no more than 4 hours due to her age and character. She could live with another greyhound or other breed if proper introductions have taken place or she could be an only dog.
Our sweet girl could live with a family who have children, providing they understand the dogs needs too.
This lass won’t be with us long so contact us to arrange a viewing, you will not be disappointed with our beautiful Lowie!
