August Updates

This month has been busy for all of us, we have seen Spud find his perfect family, Annie has gone into foster care, Womble and Nomad have joined us, we had our ‘Meet and Greet’ at PK’S Pets Supplies and we have attended a few country shows promoting greyhounds as pets.  Our fundraising team have been very busy too attending many car boot sales and raising money for the greyhounds in our care.

Thank you to all of our volunteers for all the support they give in so many different ways.

Our male greyhounds wrote a poem this month too!

I may be a boy,
I may be larger than my fellow kennel mates,
I may not be perfect,
I may not be blue, white, fawn or brindle,
I know how to lean and give you those big puppy eyes,
I love to please you,
I’m trying my very best,
I can still have fun and lots of it!
I’m being very patient waiting and waiting,
All I want is my own family.

Have you thought about giving one of our male greyhounds a home?  Please have a look at our Greyhounds Needing a Home page and see which greyhound is for you.
