We would like to wish all our volunteers, supporters and the public a very Merry Christmas.
We have had an action packed year, with events, new greyhound joining us, collections, completion of our new kennels and meeting new people, to name a few things.
The year has been very successful for us and we are enjoying settling into our new environment.
We have had a lot of events over the last month so we are going to enjoy a few days off over the festive season.
We thought you may like to see the fun we had at our latest events.
At our Christmas Fair we raised £932.32.
We raised £722.07, at the Meadows in Camberley, it was a very busy day.
In Farnborough the team raised a huge £1,101.14.
A great way to finish of the year with these three events.
Our Christmas Party for our greyhound friends went really well. We had lots of homed greyhounds come to say hello as well as the local Southampton greyhounds all came along too.
Blossom a recently rehomed greyhound came along to see us, she definitely has a fan club.

We have had some lovely donations during the year and especially now over the festive season. Thank you to everyone who has given us a donation, we are really grateful and without your support we would not be able to carry out the work we do.
We look forward to 2024 and working with you all during next year.
Christmas Homing Dates:
Please note that the last adoption day prior to Christmas will be Saturday 9th December 2023. Normal homing’s will re-start on 1st January 2024.
Only in exceptional cases and in homes where there are no children resident will we consider relaxing this policy. The forthcoming holiday period can be a very stressful time for people and as such it is not generally a good time to bring a new dog into the home.
This decision has been made with the welfare of our greyhounds at the forefront of our minds. We hope that you understand our decision.
Viewings for greyhounds and potentially reservations will still be ongoing throughout the holiday period, so please continue to check for updates on our website.
Street Collections & Events:

Sunday 21st July 2024 – Shirley’s Big Green Carnival
We are looking for volunteers to join our fundraising team and help at our street collections both around Southampton and also around the Fleet area. If you would like to find out more, please see poster below.
