Danny Has Been Homed

Danny greyhound male brindle

Danny has been homed.

He is a lightly built, average height, handsome, friendly and gentle dark brindle, castrated male who was born in February 2008.

Danny walks nicely on a lead. He has met other breeds of dog and given us no cause for concern around them. He would be suitable as an only pet or as a companion to another canine of medium size and above. Like most recently required greyhounds he requires further all breed socialisation and training to become totally reliable around all shapes and sizes of dog.

Danny has spent a short time in a foster home environment. During that time he proved to be generally gentle, non-bouncy, sociable with other male greyhounds, clean, quiet and able to be left for reasonable periods without problems. He seems to be especially fond of men, although that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t like women it’s just that given a choice he most often chooses cuddles with men over cuddles with women. Danny has been crate trained, he’s happy to put himself inside if he’s tired or he’s just as happy to sleep outside of a crate.

Initial greetings can be a little bouncy and enthusiastic, but Danny generally settles down quite quickly.

We feel that Danny would be suitable to live with children aged 3 years and over.

With toys Danny showed initial excitement especially with squeakers. He will watch as they are thrown, but at present he doesn’t chase. Danny is happiest having cuddles and kisses.
