Fanta has been rehomed – 9.3.25.
Fanta is in foster care in Southampton, Hampshire, she arrived in our care on the 22nd February 2025 and she was born on the 22nd of July 2021.
This lass is a quiet, petit girl who just wants to please her new owner. She is a fun, loving girl who gives the most excellent cuddles!
She loves to play with you and soft toys, she just loves running around and having fun, what more could you ask for!
Fanta is becoming housetrained and used to everyday noises in and around the home. She shows no fear of washing machine, dishwasher, hoover, car/motor bike engines starting and other familiar sounds.
Our gorgeous girl lives alongside 9 other greyhounds both girls and boys, she gets on well with them all. Fanta has found the sofa, she is enjoying it too! She loves to sleep next to another greyhound or curling up by herself.
This girl does LOVE her food! Fanta prefers a smaller breakfast, some tasty treats for lunch and then a larger meal in the evening where she will always give you a shiny bowl. Fanta loves the kitchen, nose up high, sniffing out all those tasty smells but she is a good girl and keeps her feet on the floor!
She enjoys her car rides, knowing she is going to have a nice walk somewhere. Fanta can easily jump in and out of the car, ready for her next adventure with her human friends, although sometimes will ask you to pick her up, don’t be fooled by this little girl!
Fanta enjoys going out for her walks, she walks nicely on a fishtail collar and lead. She will prick her ears up when watching other dogs play, sometimes wanting to join in the chase but is a good girl and will not pull on the lead.
After all the excitement of being out and about, she will settle down next to you for some quiet time and a stroke from her favourite people, she may even give you a roach!
Fanta has been tested with other breeds and has shown us no cause for concern around them. She could live safely with other dogs providing a careful introduction has taken place first. She could be left for a few hours at a time but we would prefer this to be kept to no more than 4 hours due to her age and character.
She could live with children over the age of 8 years.
