Jet Has Been Homed

Jet has been homed – 22.11.24.

Jet is in foster care in Southampton, Hampshire, he arrived in our care on the 22nd of September 2024 and he was born on the 3rd of September 2020.

He is such a lovely lad, more and more of his character appears each day and he really is the soppiest boy around.  He has a gorgeous spark and twinkle in his eye when he wants to play or have some human attention.  Jet really does live each day to the full but when he flops he really LOVES his snoozes, especially with you!

If you are thinking of adopting please have a look at his description and book a viewing to see this lad.

He is a friendly, fun, loving boy that has oodles of character to share with his new owner!

This lad is doing very well in his foster home, he is becoming housetrained and knows the garden is where he must go to the toilet.  Jet has found the sofa and rather likes it but will vacate if told to.  He is learning about household noises, including washing machine, hoover and he is fascinated by the T.V.

Jet is able to walk across a range of different floorings including carpet, tiles, wood and lino.  He is a good listener and although he likes his food he can behave in the kitchen BUT not sure he is trustworthy on his own without some supervision!

He is fine to be left for a few hours and he will find a bed and have a nice nap whilst you are out, Jet will always give you a nice welcome home upon your return.   This lad enjoys his trips out in the car and will jump in with ease, settling down nicely until you reach your destination.

Jet enjoys being outside, on the go and being around people, no sad day with this boy around!  After all that fun, Jet will quite happily enjoy a long nap, in his bed, surrounded by his toys!

This chap could be an only dog in the house or he could live with a companion.  Jet currently lives with other greyhounds and would be happy with a girlfriend who he could play with.  He is so happy that any sad moments are lost once you are with Jet enjoying time together.  Jet is suitable of living, in a family home with children, over the age of 12 years, he would love a playmate or two and would tire any child out for their parents by just enjoying special time – playing or just being Jet!

Jet LOVES his toys, he will collect them and store them in his bed!  A dog that tidies up after himself, what a clever boy!

This cheeky chap is learning about other breeds of dog, he isn’t quite sure what they are but is happy to watch them play in the park and walk past with his handler.  Jet has grown in confidence since he has been in our care around other breeds of dog and although little dogs he still needs to practise being around he has learnt that bigger dogs can be friends.  We will continue to work with Jet on this skill.

Jet can walk nicely on the lead, he can get a little excited if others are playing around him, this can lead to him becoming a little stronger on the lead.  We currently walk Jet on a Canny Collar which helps to control his strength and make walks easier, especially during those playful moments, the rest of the time Jet walks very well on the lead.

He loves his food, Jet is very responsive and wants to please his human friend.

Jet would love to find his new family, could it be yours?  Make his day, ask for a viewing and fall in love with him, just like the volunteers have!

No cats please.
