Lady has been homed.
She is an average size, affectionate and friendly, black, spayed bitch who was born in May 2004.
She is well named – this slightly more mature greyhound is Lady by name and nature!
Lady’s foster mum describes her as follows:
A lovely girl who gets on well with dogs of all breeds (as well as cats and children according to her previous owner). She will tolerate puppies, but can be a bit rough when playing with them.
She is keen to go for a walk and is very good on the lead. She is very happy living with other dogs, but likes her own space and will growl to tell the others off if they disturb her. She is however in no way snappy towards them.
I think she could live quite happily on her own without another dog providing she wasn’t left without company for too long. We have left her at home with the others several times and there has been no problem at all. She is good at night, will whine if she wants to go out in the night and is very clean indoors. She is happy to doze in her bed all day and night. A lovely dog to have around the house.
