Marshall Has Been Homed

“I love footballs!”

Marshall has been homed – 9/2/20.

He is a confident, very friendly, black, male who was born on 10th September 2014.

Marshall loves his outings and travels well.

This boy loves to play and is very gentle with his toys, apart from footballs – which he is mad for!  Marshall even knows how to play fetch!  He would spend hours playing with you, throw a tennis ball or soft cuddle toy and he will bring them back to you, dropping them at your feet.  What a clever boy!

Recently Marshall spent a few days in foster care whilst he recovered from a loss of a toe nail. He was very good whilst in the home environment, mixed well with the other seven greyhounds, was quiet at night, enjoyed his crate time and was a very clean boy inside the house. Marshall is keen to find his own home and this report shows how good he is already inside a house environment, even if it was only for a few days!

Marshall loves people and he does lean in to you for a fuss to be made of him, he could spend all day having a back scratch!

He would be fine as an only pet, as a companion to a laid back greyhound or medium size dog, in a home with children over the age of 10 years, he’d also be fine to be left unattended for a few hours. He can walk nicely on a lead with a Canny collar.

Marshall is very responsive during training sessions with other breeds of dog, he listens to his handler and has overcome many fears.  He will now accept medium size dogs as friends and is becoming more confident around smaller breeds. We are looking for a greyhound owner who can continue his training/socialisation around unfamiliar breeds of dog.

No cats/small fluffies please.
