Rory Has Been Homed

Rory greyhound black and white male

Rory has been homed.

He is an average sized, initially reticent, but gentle and friendly, castrated male who was born in November 2008.

Rory walks nicely on a lead, but if his chase instinct is triggered he is very powerful. He’ll therefore still need a physically strong handler for those moments when cats and other wildlife cross your path even though most of the time he’s a complete gentleman to walk along with.

He has met other breeds of dog and given us no cause for concern around them. He’d be suitable as an only pet or as a companion to another canine of medium size and above. Rory has failed our cat test however, so no cats or small fluffies for this lad please.

After initially not being much interested in toys, Rory has now discovered an interest in them, we’ll report in more detail soon.

He’s a gentle soul who loves fuss and cuddles, after he’s had a little time to “suss you out”.

Rory is basically a bit shy and he’s definitely wary of quick movements. We therefore feel that this lad would best suit a quiet home where there are no young children rushing around.
