Speedy has been homed.

He is a tall confident and boisterous, black, castrated male. He’s happy to have a fuss and give you the “recall run-around” when it’s time to go back inside. Recall practice is required.

Speedy walks nicely on a lead and he loves to play! Speedy enjoys a good run on his own or with a human companion.  He also likes to play with a range of toys including squeaky ones. He travels well in the car and is keen to get in for his outings.

Speedy has been tested with other dogs.  He gives us no cause for concern with medium sized dogs and above.  Speedy needs to continue seeing very small breeds to be fully trustworthy around them.  He would be fine as an only pet with someone around most of the time or he would be happy as a companion to another dog/bitch of Staffy size and up.

Speedy would be best suited to a home with older children simply because he is a big bouncy chap.

Speedy has spent some time in foster care to help us assess him further. His foster carer reported that Speedy was a quick learner in respect of toilet training and learning the word  “no”. He adapted quickly to the home environment, but he never mastered stair climbing.

He shares well with other dogs being happy to eat and sleep beside his foster sister.

Once comfortable in his environment Speedy shows he has a real, fun loving nature, is full of affection he’d definitely make a wonderful pet.

No cats please.
