Sunny Has Been Homed

Sunny one of our new arrivals.

Sunny has been homed!

Sunny is in foster care in Southampton, Hampshire, he arrived with us on the 8th November 2023 and he was born on the 9th of October 2019.

He is a very friendly, fun, loving, white and black boy.  This lad enjoys going out for his walks and being with his canine friends.

This lad loves to be around people, having a lot of fuss and cuddles. He is a very affectionate boy and will snuggle into you gently for an ever lasting hug!

After all that fun and exercise, Sunny will quite happily enjoy a long nap.

He can easily get into a car for his outings but can be quite lazy, at times, especially after a walk so a no-nonsense owner is needed, for those times!  Sunny understands the rules and will listen when told to jump in.  Once he is in, he will settle down quickly and will start to think about what the next adventure will entail.

We are looking for a home with older children or an adult only family for the boy.  He loves his toys, although will play with them when you are not looking, a sneaky boy!  I’m sure this will develop and he will learn to play with the toys and you together!

Sunny is learning the rules of the house and so far, learnt that the kitchen is the best place to be, if he can help himself to food, he will so make sure all the goodies are safely locked away!  He takes in everyday noises as they are something he has always heard – T.V, dishwasher, radio, builders drilling – none phase him at all.

He is becoming house trained and is learning fast, Sunny is dry overnight and is learning to inform his foster mummy when he needs the toilet during the day.  What a quick learner he is!

Are you looking for an active greyhound or do you enjoy walking in the countryside?  Sunny could be the chap for you.  How can you not resist that puppy face and those gorgeous eyes!  He is a huge, cuddly teddy bear who just wants to have fun!

After all the dashing around, Sunny most of all enjoys a cuddle time with his human friends, he just loves to lean right into you.  This special time with his human friends are a must for every day and in return he will show how compassionate he is for you and your family.

Sunny enjoys his food but prefers a quiet place to eat, away from the hustle and bustle of home life and any other dog watching him!  He will gentle take food from your hands and waits patiently for his turn when feeding.

He has a good appetite and will always show you a shiny, clean bowl when finished.  He is a typical lad, after he has finished his food, he will need a quick trip outside so he can go to the toilet!

This playful lad enjoys ‘bedtime’ or ‘quiet time’ where he can snooze whilst surrounded by his big, warm bed.  Sunny does feel the cold and likes to be covered by a blanket or his fleece to keep him nice and cosy and toasty!

The boy will need his own wardrobe of coats to ensure he doesn’t get cold when out on his walks or on those colder days in the home.  I wonder how many different coats he will end up with!

Sunny could be an only dog in the house or he could live with a female greyhound.  He has been tested with other breeds of dog and after working out what they are, he just wants to be friends.  He particularly gets excited when seeing other dogs running freely in the park, at these times he really would just love to play but is easily controllable.

He would love to find his new family, could it be yours?  Make his day, ask for a viewing, fall in love with him, just like we have.

No cats please.
