Yuna has been homed – 8.2.26.
Yuna is in foster care in Southampton, Hampshire, she arrived in our care on the 4th of January 2026 and she was born on the 1st of September 2021.
She is a very sweet, quiet girl who is looking for her own family. Yuna would suit a range of families from active, homes with children or with a retired person/couple. She loves being out and about but equally enjoys her quiet time too.
This girl loves to play with you and soft toys, she just loves running around and having fun, what more could you ask for! Yuna loves her teddys and will often be found with one in her mouth.
Yuna is housetrained and used to everyday noises in and around the home. She is showing no fear of washing machine, dishwasher, hoover and other familiar sounds. We are exposing her to a range of walks including road walks; she can be a little fearful of buses or lorries but is getting better at passing them.
Our gorgeous girl lives alongside 7 other greyhounds both girls and boys, she gets on well with them all.
Yuna enjoys feeding time but is quite happy to wait her turn, she takes treats gentle from your hand and shows manners around the other dogs.
She enjoys her car rides, knowing she is going to have a nice walk somewhere. Yuna can need a little assistance at getting into a car but she can do it when she chooses too!
Yuna enjoys going out for her walks, she walks nicely on a lead and will trot along beside you, however in new environments she can be a little strong on the lead, don’t be fooled by her size as she can be strong when she wants to be! She will prick her ears up when watching other dogs play but knows how to correctly say ‘hello’ with other medium size breeds, she meets, on her walks. Yuna is still learning what small dogs are but in a calm manner, she can sniff them appropriately.
After all the excitement of being out and about, she will settle down next to you for some quiet time and a stroke from her favourite people, she loves to give you a roach!

Yuna has been tested with other breeds and has shown us no cause for concern around medium and large breeds. She still needs some further training around smaller breeds, working out what they are. If introduced carefully and slowly she can say ‘hello’ positively but can get excited if they start running around. Yuna hasn’t been out of racing long so this is a new world to her, one that she is learning about fast and is doing really well.
She would be able to be homed with another dog/greyhound or as an only dog, after careful introductions have been carried out. Yuna could be left for a few hours at a time but we would prefer this to be kept to no more than 4 hours due to her age.
This lass won’t be with us long so contact us to arrange a viewing, you will not be disappointed with our beautiful Yuna!
