New Range:

Our coat maker has been busy and we now have a new range of handmade ‘Cool Coats’ in our shop, ready for the warm weather to begin.  The coats come in a range of sizes and will fit lurchers and greyhounds.  To view these coats please come along to our shop during business hours 11am-1pm.  A selection of the coats made are in the photo below.

Exciting News:

We would like to thank Tina K Burton, the editor of “Fifty Tails of Grey” for her generous support of our work.

Fifty Tails of Grey is a delightful book of true stories about rehomed greyhounds. These heart warming, funny and sometimes sad stories will show you why so many people fall in love with this sensitive, gentle breed.

Tina donates all the profits from this book to UK based greyhound rescues and Greyhound Lifeline are privileged to have been selected as one the groups that Tina is supporting this way.

Every copy sold makes money to support those wonderful animals we all love….the greyhounds.

The attached Amazon link will take you to a page where you can order Tina’s book. We hope you enjoy reading it.…/Fifty-Tails-Grey-Tina…/1518760902

If you have read the above book it’d really help Tina and lots of greyhounds too if you would leave a book review on the Amazon site. Once there are 50+ reviews we are told that Amazon start advertising the book themselves which hopefully will increase sales and fundraising even further!

Thank you in advance on behalf of lots of needy greyhounds throughout the UK.

Coat Appeal:

Our coat maker is running low on supplies, we are looking for soft fleece blankets and large colourful towels.  If you have any spare at home we would be grateful for them at the kennels.  Thank you in advance.

Toy Appeal:

We are getting low on soft toys for our kennel hounds, if you have any spare dog toys at home that you wouldn’t mind donating our greyhounds would love to have them!

We continue to require your donations of unwanted children’s toys, games (board, electronic and PlayStation/Xbox type), kitchen gadgets, utensils and crockery. Jigsaws, DVDs (not video tapes please), CD’s, ornaments and unopened/unwanted toiletries etc for fundraising purposes. Please contact us for information about where to drop off donated items if you do not know where we are based or email us at
