November Updates

We are pleased to announce both Snoopy and Nomad (Maddie) have settled really well into their new homes.  Both greyhounds have really landed on their paws!

The latest arrival at the kennels is little Dotty.  She is a very friendly black girl.  Dotty is currently in temporary foster care, recovering from her recent spay and dental operation.  She had one of her canine teeth removed so she is spending a few days in foster recovering from the procedure.  Get well soon Dotty!

Homing Dates:

Due to the excitement of the upcoming seasonal festivities please note that the last homing date for any families with children will be Sunday 3rd December 2017. Normal homing will resume on Sunday 1st January 2018. There may be an adoption or two, for exceptionally quiet homes without children, but each case will be judged purely with the best interest of the dog at the forefront of our minds. Viewings and reservations will still continue through this busy time of year.

A poem written by Snoopy and friends.

I may be a boy,
I may be larger than my fellow kennel mates,
I may not be perfect,
I may not be blue, white, fawn or brindle,
BUT…..
I know how to lean and give you those big puppy eyes,
I love to please you,
I’m trying my very best,
I can still have fun and lots of it!
I’m being very patient waiting and waiting,
All I want is my own family.

Have you thought about giving one of our male greyhounds a home?  Please have a look at our Greyhounds Needing a Home page and see which greyhound is for you.
