Speedy Greyhounds Finding Their Own Homes!

This Weeks News:

This month we have continued to see our adoption enquiries being higher than usual and our lovely greyhounds finding their own homes.

New boy Tyke had been with us less than a week before he found his own home, he is now in foster care with his new family, getting to know family life.  Tyke is living with Marshall (greyhound homed by us) and a Beagle.  The whole family are very pleased with him already and I am sure we will have some photos to share very soon with you.

One of our latest greyhounds to find his own home and get reserved is our oversize Pongo with oodles of character!  This lad has not been with us very long but to help him find his own home he needed a little bit of extra help from his canine and human friends by taking out to the ‘outside world’ and getting him used to all the smells, noises, seeing other animals including other breeds of dog that we all see on a day to day bases.

Pongo has thrived with these extra sessions and so much so, he had a viewing on Saturday and was the perfect gentleman that he just loves being.  He particularly enjoyed his game of chase and throw that teddy with them but his best bit was standing still so he could enjoy the yummy treats and grooming session that the family gave him.  Well done Pongo!
