January has begun and we certainly have already been busy!
We have had a new intake of dogs – Gru, Goose, Twinkle, Yuna, Mist and Lowie and viewings have already taken place.
Goose, Twinkle and Mist have all been reserved! Well done girls.
The BIG Walk 2026:
This year we will be doing our BIG walk again! This time we are looking for twenty willing volunteers to walk 25 miles across the New Forest, as a group, in one day.
We have extended our deadline for applications until Thursday 5th of February 2026.
If you are up for a challenge and would like to help raise funds for our gorgeous greyhounds please email us on [email protected], we would love for you to join us.
We will be announcing the successful applications on Monday 9th of February.
APPEAL FOR WALKERS:
We are looking to extend our walking team, these volunteers walk our kennel dogs each day.
Criteria for walkers:
- Volunteers must live near to Southampton.
- We need people who can help us either early morning, starting time around 7.30am or mid afternoon to exercise our kennel dogs.
- We are looking for walkers who can walk Monday-Friday.
- Volunteers need to have their own transport.
- Volunteers will be joining a group of walkers, we need people who can work well within a team.
Full training will be given to all successful volunteers.
