Cash Has Been Homed

Cash has been homed – 16.4.22.

Cash is in kennels near Fleet, Hampshire, he arrived with us on the 10th February 2022 and he was born on the 24th July 2018.

He is a friendly boy, always has a smile on his face and you may even get his smile as he walks towards you!  He doesn’t know which part of his body he should show his happiness through with his wiggly bottom and his bouncy legs that spring around you, whilst he shows you his excitement.

The boy is a real gem, he enjoys his time outside – sniffing, more sniffing and his human cuddles but when he has finished he is quite happy to take himself back to bed, waiting for his human friend to bring him his treat!

This enjoyable lad enjoys going out for walks, he may have his head in the undergrowth more than it is in the air at times!  You can’t but love or fall for him and his cheekiness!

He loves to chase after thrown toys and will run off with them until you throw another one.

Cash loves running around with his human friends, he will play bow with you and enjoys a good game of ‘catch that human’ as he runs off after you! He is such a loveable chap with a fantastic character and it won’t be long before he shows you his nutty side too!

If you enjoy being out and about than this is the boy for you, otherwise Cash will amuse himself with a toy or a kong (especially if it has something smelly inside)!  Cash is number one at following you around, he is your little shadow (not so much of the little though!)

This lad would be best suited to a home with children over 8 years or an adult only home.  Cash could be a companion to another greyhound/dog or live on his own if he had company for some of the day.

Cash won’t win any beauty contests any time soon, (although this is improving each day), with his bald bottom, elbows and fluffy kennel coat, however he is such a gentle soul and allows the kennel hands to apply Burts Bees moisturiser to these places to promote the hair to grow back.  I think he rather likes the massaging and sometimes you can see he is going to sleep, whilst having his extra special time!  When Cash’s hair has grown back he will be the beauty king of the kennels.

He is a boy who loves his food, he has an appetite that can go on and on!  Cash has a fantastic set of ears, that will make you laugh at the positions that they can get into!

Cash has been tested with other breeds of dog, he is rather eager to say ‘hello’ to them and needs a bit of guidance from his handler so this is done politely (he sometimes forgets how big he is compared to the little ones!)  After all the excitement of meeting his new friend he then turns to the new humans for additional attention; greyhound cuddles that he loves!

Cash meeting Chloe.

He has one main goal and that is pleasing his handler/owner – learning the right way to behaviour in all situations.

Cash and little Chloe.

No cats please.

Who can resist Cash’s sweet face and his chunky, monkey body that has oodles of character!  He really is a sweetie and a favourite with the kennel hands.

Call the adoption team to book a viewing, he certainly won’t let you down!
