Sunday 27th September – Great Global Greyhound Walk
We are hosting our walk at Bolton’s Bench, Lyndhurst.
We have a long and a short walk planned, walk to start at 11am, please arrive by 10.45am.
After the walk we will be having refreshments, with lots of homemade cake, please stay and enjoy with us. All donations will go to looking after the greyhounds in our care.

Event News:
This weekend we were at Haskins raising funds for our kennel greyhounds. The team worked hard and lots of lovely people donated and stopped for a chat.
They raised £425.34, which is a fabulous amount.
Thank you to everyone who donated money, dog food and two lovely dog beds too!
Julie, one of our volunteers, held her Table Top Sale at Titchfield Village Hall. It was lovely seeing everyone who attended and all those greyhound faces too!
Her team worked flat out all day and we are very thankful for them!
They raised £595 which is AMAZING and I am told the BEST SALE yet!
We are so grateful for all our volunteers, in all of their roles, without so many people we wouldn’t be able to do the work that we do and help so many greyhounds who pass through our care. Thank you to everyone who comes along to our events too.

Dog Food Donations:
If anyone is able to purchase us some Butchers Dog Tinned Meat our kennel greyhounds would be very thankful. We would prefer the tripe mix or the meaty loaf, we ask that you do NOT purchase anything in gravy as it upsets our dog’s tummies. Thank You.
APPEAL FOR KENNEL DOG WALKERS:
We are looking to extend our walking team, these volunteers walk our kennel dogs each day.
Criteria for walkers:
- Volunteers must live near to Southampton.
- We need people who can help us either early morning, starting time around 7.30am or mid afternoon to exercise our kennel dogs.
- We are looking for walkers who can walk Monday-Friday.
- Volunteers need to have their own transport.
- Volunteers will be joining a group of walkers, we need people who can work well within a team.
Full training will be given to all successful volunteers.
