Curly Has Been Homed

Curly black male profile

Curly has been homed.

He is a small sized (for a boy), initially cautious and timid black male who was born in July 2007.

Once Curly has had a few moments to “work you out” he is more confident. This boy loves to play with balls, footballs seem to be a favorite and one of those will keep him amused for quite some time.

Curly walks nicely on a lead. He has met other breeds of dog and given us no cause for concern around them. He may be suitable as an only pet, but he would definitely be fine having a canine companion to share his home with as he does get a confidence boost from having another dog around him.

In fact Curly shares beautifully with his current kennel mate, deferring to her in all things. This boy is very easy going with all other dogs and although initially he was a little too interested in toys for comfort we feel the novelty has somewhat worn off now. He has given us no concerns around toys for some time.

We are however erring on the side of caution in respect of children and are asking for an adult only home or one with teenagers who can appreciate Curly’s worries and foibles.

Curly has passed our cat test. With caution and vigilance in the early days of adoption we feel that he will learn to live safely with cats.

Curly travels well and is keen to get into a car for his outings.

A genuinely lovely boy who will blossom in a home.
