Hannibal Has Been Homed

Hannibal has been homed – 2/6/20.

Hannibal is in kennels near Fleet, Hampshire, he arrived on the 28th April and he was born on 15th July 2016.

He is a giant size, friendly male greyhound who just loves being around people.  This lad loves attention and being with his friends, unfortunately he always has a happy tail which has led him to having part of tail amputated due to damaging the end of it, however that hasn’t stopped him being happy!

This boy wins all prizes for always being so happy!

Hannibal loves his outings, travels well and is always very keen to get into the car.  He can get very excited around ‘walkies’ and needs to be reminded to calm down.

This boy loves his food, he is very gentle taking a dog biscuit from your hand and will never leave any kibble in his food bowl at mealtimes!

Hannibal enjoys playing; either with you, another greyhound or chasing after toys.  He hasn’t quite worked out what to do with toys once he has caught them but we are sure this will come in time.

He enjoys his playtime in the sand paddock and being able to run around, just watch out as he will come to you when called but his stopping skills still need practising!

This boy may be tall but he is a gentle giant who can be calm when meeting new people.

Hannibal would be fine as an only pet or as a companion to a female dog, he could be homed to a family with older childen and he’d be fine to be left unattended for a few hours.

He has met other breeds of dog and he enjoys greeting them which he can do calmly.  Hannibal sometimes doesn’t realise that they are another breed, as they look very different to him but once he has worked out they are he will wait until his handler has told him he can say hello.

No cats/small fluffies please.
