Parker Has Been Homed

Parker has been homed.

He is an average sized black and white male who is rather shy. Parker was born in February 2007.

He walks nicely on a lead, travels well and is keen to get into a car for his outings.

He has met other breeds of dog and given us no cause for concern around them. He would be suitable as an only pet or as a companion to another dog/bitch of any size. Parker is gently affectionate, but he has to build up trust in you before he shows that side. Cautious around strangers, he just lacks the social graces the “sell himself” to people he does not know.

Best with older children or in an adult only home due to Parker’s easily overwhelmed nature. Not a boy who would be happy with a constant stream of visitors, this lad would much prefer a quiet home where he can build up trust in people slowly.

Hand shy when off the lead, but strangely accepting of attention and cuddles when on a lead. A bit of an anomaly this boy, but a lovely lad none the less. Do you have the patience to persuade Parker to trust you?

Parker has passed our cat test. With caution and vigilance in the early days we feel Parker would learn to live safely with cats.

Well mannered and non-bouncy, but a boy who likes to run and play chase with his companion greyhounds so not boring by any standards. Parker has gone prematurely grey, he’s not nearly as old as he looks, he’s still a youngster who just needs a chance to blossom.
