Shandy Has Been Homed

Shandy

Shandy is a very pretty brindle, spayed bitch with a loving nature. She was born on 12th September 2012.  She has now been homed.

She travels well in the car and jumps in by herself.

She is a very cuddly girl, who loves to be around people and other greyhounds.  Shandy loves to play with toys, people and her best friend Willie who is kennelled next to her.  She is still very young and has lots of energy, she would love an active family that she could be on the go with each day.  Being young Shandy needs boundaries to be set for her so she knows what is expected of her.  She would be best suited to families with the children 5 years and above.

Shandy can walk nicely on a lead, but her initial excitement currently means she can be quite strong on the lead, she does respond positively to correction.  Shandy can get excited meeting new people and sometimes forgets her manners and may jump up in greeting. We hope to overcome this very soon.

Shandy

Shandy would be suited as an only dog if someone was around for most of the day or to be a companion to another dog/bitch of medium size and above.  She needs more socialisation with smaller breeds to become trustworthy around them.
