Simba Has Been Homed

Simba has been homed – 27.6.20

Simba is in kennels near Fleet, Hampshire, he arrived with us on the 4th June 2020 and he was born on 26th May 2016.

He is a friendly, laid back boy who loves a cuddle and snuggle with his human friends.

Simba enjoys going out for walks, he can be initially strong on the lead due to his excitement of going out but soon settles down.  He is very interested in the wildlife around him and he enjoys watching them while he walks along – big or small however he can get excited by a deer or squirrel and can become strong on the lead until they have passed.

He travels well and is always very keen to get into the car, ready for the next adventure.

Simba could be an only pet if he was going to be left for 2-3 hours at a time or he could live with another larger dog.  He can get a little anxious, if he is left in a room that he can’t see out of, Simba would prefer his new family to use stair gates or doors so he can see through, the time that he is left would be able to be increased once he has settled in to his new home and family.

He is beginning to know his name and responds very well to his handler, if there isn’t anything else on offer that is more interesting!

Simba can get a little anxious if toys are thrown for him, he is quite happy in his own little world but is starting to play with soft cuddly ones.  He would much prefer a plod around smelling all the smells or giving his human a cuddle!

This lad is a quiet, affectionate boy and would prefer a home with adults only or older teenagers, sudden moves and noises can make him jump.  Simba has a lot of character that still needs to be unlocked by his new family.  If you meet him you will see exactly how friendly and affectionate his is in such a very positive way.

Simba has met other breeds of dog and with proper socialisation he would be able to learn to live with most other breeds of dog.  He can get very excited when first meeting other dogs and needs to learn some manners before his handler will allow him to say hello to the other dogs in a calm controlled way.

He adores food and tries to sniff it out without his human friends noticing! Watch out for any food on the work surfaces as it won’t be there long with this cheeky boy around!

No cats or small fluffies please.

This boy is a real sweetie, one that you must come and see for yourself!
