Sparko has been homed – 21.4.21.
Sparko is in kennels near Fleet, Hampshire, he arrived with us on the 29th March 2021 and he was born on the 22nd April 2018.
He is a friendly, small boy who is always ready for some fun with familiar people.
He is a young lad who has a lot to learn about the ‘outside world’, Sparko can be a little shy with new people but once he has sussed out, he can have even more fun, with other people then he will be your best buddy!
Sparko enjoys chasing after a soft toy using his lightning speed to dash around and then will trot around the play area, showing off his latest catch!
Sparko will allow you to take a toy away from him, so you can throw again and again, but you have to catch him first!
He will play with all sorts of toys, as long as he has a playmate to play with!
After all the excitement he will seek out his trusted, human companion for some cuddle time.
He enjoys his walks and can walk very nicely on the lead, Sparko can also easily jump into a car for his outings.
Sparko has met a range of other breeds of dog, he is curious to know what they are at this stage and prefers to give the air a sniff rather than say ‘hello’ in person. As he grows in confidence and relaxes around other breeds, he will understand that he can play with other dogs and have just as much fun as he can with his human friends!
He would be best suited to a home with children over 10 years whilst he develops his confidence and therefore doesn’t get easily scared of strange noises. In time Sparko could live with younger children once he’s confidence has fully developed. He could also be an only dog or be a companion to another greyhound or other breed of dog with careful introductions.
Sparko is a boy who loves his food so watch out in the kitchen, put away those tasty treats! As he’s character grows more of his personaility is showing and what a lovely dog he is becoming! This is one dog you do not want to miss.
