Car Boot Fundraisers Need HELP!
Our fundraisers are preparing for the ‘Car Boot Sale’s’ to start up again. We are hopeful that it will be in the next couple of weeks.

Whilst we have been in Lockdown the duo have been sorting out the stock they have for these car boot sales. They now need your help, as stock is running very low and they are keen to attend as many car boot sales as possible.
Below is a list of items that they CAN sell really quickly, in order, for those pennies to keep coming in:
Jewellery (real or costume) includes broken gold/silver etc.
Watches (pocket’ wrist’ working or not)
Kitchen small appliances & kitchenware
Small Electronics
Phones, Cameras and Laptops
Tools (garden or DIY) & Garden Ornaments
Boxed Games, Jigsaws & Children’s Toys
Smellies (boxed or single)
Cigar boxes & Brass items
Dog leads, collars, toys, coats etc.
Sparko loves the toys that you help raise funds for.
HOW TO DONATE YOUR ITEMS:
WE CANNOT ACCEPT ANY CAR BOOT ITEMS AT THE KENNELS; UNLESS IT HAS BEEN SET UP AS A MEETING PLACE FOR THE TRANSFER OF YOUR GOODS. THIS CAN ONLY BE ARRANGED THROUGH OUR FUNDRAISERS (CAR-BOOT TEAM) OR THE KENNEL MANAGERS.
PLEASE DO NOT DROP ITEMS OFF AT THE KENNELS, IF YOU HAVEN’T ALREADY SPOKEN TO OUR CAR BOOT TEAM. WE ARE UNABLE TO TAKE IN YOUR DONATIONS, AT OUR CENTRE, DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS.

Go, grab a bargain at Mytchett Car Boot Sale – every Saturday morning and say hello to Adrian. This dedicated couple are hardworking and give up their time to support Greyhound Lifeline.
The team are keen to begin their ‘Car Boot Sales’ again, after such a long time without fundraising for the kennels. They are confident that they can bring in some much needed funds to help care for the greyhounds in our care. Once they can start attending again, you will be surprised how quickly they can turn ‘unwanted items’ into cash for our greyhounds!

It has been a difficult couple of years for all charities, due to COVID and yet we, like many others, have continued to receive greyhounds after they have finished their racing days. We have been very limited to funds due to not been able to fundraiser, either through street collections or our car-boot team. We have been very fortunate to have supporters who have helped us through this difficult time, with donations of dog food, bedding, toys, gifts for the kennel hands, sale of food and goods and monatry funds too, which we are very grateful for.
